Sustainability
Our own handprint, measured the same way we measure yours.
Footprint vs Handprint, Applied To Us.
The Carbon Handprint Report isn't just a deliverable we hand to customers. It's the yardstick we run ourselves against, against the same ISO 14067 methodology, with the same Environmental Green Group verification.
A footprint counts what an organisation emits. A handprint counts what it prevents. Most fluid suppliers report only the first number, because the second one is harder. We report both. We lead with the second one.

What We Measure on Ourselves.
- Fluid avoided. Volume of virgin concentrate we did not have to ship because the Dexterous lifecycle kept fluid in service longer.
- Disposal events avoided. The collections, transports and incineration loads we removed from the system.
- Biocide doses avoided. Reductions in biocide intervention frequency across our deployed sites.
- Material recovered. Tonnes of fluid regenerated and chips reclaimed via the Dexterous Range.
- Service van efficiency. Carbon per service call, optimised through planned-route scheduling on Dexterous Digital.

The Frameworks We Report Against: ISO 14067.
- Product carbon footprint methodology. The standard our Carbon Handprint Reports are aligned to.
- GHG Protocol. The global accounting standard for greenhouse gas reporting.
- We use the Scope 3 module for supply chain avoided emissions.
- CSRD Article 8. EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
- From 2026, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers must report auditable Scope 3 data. Our customers use the Dexterous Carbon Handprint Report as their evidence layer.
- EU Green Deal. The supply-chain decarbonisation framework that sets the direction of travel for OEM procurement teams.

Our Commitments
Verifiable, not modelled. Every kg of CO₂e we claim is verified by Environmental Green Group against ISO 14067. We do not publish modelled or estimated numbers in customer reports or in our own reporting.
Cradle to grave, not cradle to invoice. We measure the full life of a fluid we touch.
The number we put on a sustainability report is the number we can defend to an OEM auditor. Aligned with where regulation is moving. Biostable chemistry from MotulTech reduces biocide use, the variable HSE and OEM specifications are tightening on.
We specify forward, not to last year's rules. Transparent on the math. Our Carbon Handprint methodology is published in detail in the customer pack. We don't hide assumptions behind a logo.
Circular Economy Action Plan.
The policy framework that the Dexterous lifecycle is engineered to satisfy. ISO 14001. Our environmental management system, audited annually.
Our Own Targets
[Insert ISG UK Ltd's specific operational sustainability targets, e.g., net carbon position by year X, % of UK service fleet electrified by year Y, % of sites running on closed-loop fluid recovery, etc. To be confirmed with leadership before publication.]
Read The Methodology
Our Carbon Handprint methodology document explains how we calculate avoided emissions, the assumptions we use, and how Environmental Green Group audits the numbers before they reach a customer's sustainability report.
